BILL CALDER APPRECIATION WEEK

The C2C Racing League is proud to announce that Week 7 (October 26–30) will be dedicated as “Bill Calder Appreciation Week.”

For more than five years, Bill Calder has been a cornerstone of the league—welcoming nearly every driver who has joined, managing introductions, and tirelessly handling all social media race results. His dedication, kindness, and behind-the-scenes efforts have been instrumental in shaping the C2C community into what it is today. Quite simply, the league would not be where it is without Bill’s remarkable contributions.

As many know, Bill has been courageously battling cancer for the past few years and was recently diagnosed at Stage 4.  He is currently receiving care at the Bob Kemp Hospice, where he continues to show positive improvement and renewed strength thanks to their exceptional, compassionate support.

The Bob Kemp Hospice provides vital, no-cost care to patients and families, entirely funded through community donations. To honor Bill and support the hospice’s mission, C2C will be collecting free-will donations via PayPal, which Bill will personally present to the hospice.

Throughout Appreciation Week, C2C will host a Tribute Race each night, open to all current and past C2C members as well as Retread Division drivers.
All races will be hosted under the password “STRONG”, counted toward the regular season, and will celebrate Bill’s impact on our community.

Thanks to the generosity of Maurer Farm Management and the Salty Dawgs, each race will feature the following payouts:
🏁 1st Place: $25
🏁 2nd Place: $15
🏁 3rd Place: $10

Points from each race will contribute to the overall standings (with 2 drops), and the Week 7 Champion will receive a Custom Trophy from A&J Custom Creations.
